The dissertation is coming on. I've got most of the front end knocked into shape, and now comes the fun bit. I've got start discussing what I've found. There are still a few patches to be stitched in (Bruce Lawson agreed to have something for me by Tuesday) but I think I know where I'm going with this. The statistics are pretty interesting too (if you get a kick out of numbers) but I'm not giving anything away here until publish.
I also discovered the route of my problem with some CSS header images on the new touchline site. Dave kindly pointed out that if you use the word 'banner' as the name of a file (and to add insult to injury, the call the subfolder that as well) certain adblockers on certain clients machines get a bit pokey and start chopping things out without warning. I will bear that in mind for future reference. It was driving me up the wall for a week.
I'd talk about the other things going on in my life right now, but I haven't got one right now. I don't think I've left the house in four days which is not good. I think I'm going to run some errands tomorrow - I hope Tescos is open on a Bank Holiday...
