Happy second birthday blog. Two years on since I made my first entry here, life has changed a little. I’m now a qualified industrial designer, I shoot DSLR, I’ve seen a few more countries, I own a Mac and yet I still can’t drive a frickin’ car. Maybe by this time next year…
Unfortunately, Rich’s leap for glory in Isis yesterday ended disappointingly, with neither dark blue boat managing to clinch a victory. Still though, there is always next year. On a more cheerful note, Ian (one time blogger) managed to reach the lofty echelons of Radio One when he helped present the Early Morning Breakfast show on Friday. That’s pretty impressive in my books.
Easter was spent over at the farm with one side of the family and so tomorrow we visit the other half in Redditch. There are a few loose ends to be tied before I go away (like making sure my rucksack is holeless amongst other things) but preparations start in earnest tomorrow. After the bank holiday I only realistically have 24 hours to sort myself out completely, then I’m Milan-bound on a 6am flight.
I managed to speak to Oz today which was long-needed, but am still annoyed that I haven’t got around to seeing a few people I had wanted to before the off. Well they’ll just have to wait now.
